Watermark Community Church
Watermark church has always had a progressive online experience. AM Design built a site for them back in 2005, and that site served them well for 6 years. They came back to AM Design in 2011 to take their website to the next level.
For this iteration of their site we were tasked with finding a way for users to quickly and easily find the many different ministries at Watermark. After examining the complexity of the different ministries and their different needs we designed and built them a tool that allows them to centrally manage all of their ministries. It brings in all relevant information from throughout the site including staff members, events, and more. This allows each ministry to have a place where the user can find out everything they need to know in one place. It also allows for searching and filtering of the different ministries to quickly find the information you are looking for.
After seeing the success of this section in the early stages of the site build, Watermark had us build two other modules using this same concept to control their Connect and Serve sections as well.
Watermark also focuses on providing online media to their site users and members. Another cornerstone of this project was to overhaul their online media management and bring it all into one simple to use tool. Their new media management tools allow watermark to manage not only their rich media experience on the website, but all of their podcasts, their mobile site and even their iPhone app all at the same time. This allows them to enter the content once and have it update everywhere.
To flesh out the remainder of the site, Watermark has tools designed to manage their events, news, staff, mobile site and main site content to give them the flexibility to continue serving the people of Dallas.
