Passion 2011 Conference
Passion has been around since 1997 with a desire to see spiritual awakening come to the college campuses of the nation and the world. AM began working with Passion in 2008 on their '08 World Tour website. Since then Passion has trusted AM with the development and design of several website projects including the Passion 2010 and 2011 event websites as well as the 2010 World Tour website.
For the 2011 website, the client had an idea for a square layout. We suggested a 3D cube to make it a little more interesting. We were able to combine a complete content management system with this highly creative, all-Flash website, which is like having your cake and eating it too. There's not much we can't do to create Flash content that breaks through many of the false stereotypes that surround the technology including search engine friendliness and displaying alternate content on mobile platforms.
The "Do Something Now" section was a section that was added just before the event launched. It has a unique design style from the rest of the site and focuses on individual causes for attendees to give toward. We added the ability for Passion to post status messages and online giving links that they could change live on site via their content management system.
