About

Our Story

It all started in 1998 in Denton, Texas, when a college kid, fueled by Pop Tarts and a Power Mac, discovered a passion for great design.

AM Design began as our President's freelance business (originally known as Aaron McClung Design), while he was in college at the University of North Texas. After graduating with a degree in Communication Design in 1999, he went on staff at First Baptist Church in Euless as the graphic designer. Within a couple of years, he was working for himself full-time. A few years later, with the work still piling up, he hired our first employee, and the rest is history.

Since then, we've experienced steady growth in our number of clients and have continued to add to our team to better serve them. Our recipe from the beginning has always been to do great work for our clients and honor God in everything we do. Neither of those always come easy, but we've learned that treating each project like it's our last, and pursuing excellence every day tends to keep us on track toward that goal.

Technology has changed immensely over the years, and the needs of our clients have continued to change as well. We've greatly expanded our development capabilities over the years to where now every site we build has an enterprise level content management system behind it, and an endless number of other custom applications built specifically for the daily needs of our clients.

Over the last decade plus, we have continued to develop our strategies for creative communication and branding, and our process for success for our clients has proven to be effective.
